Love Me Always was a really good, but sad book. Clay DiPalma is on trial, and Nick has to testify against him. Since a lot of Clay's friends are out to get Nick, he can't be seen with Jessica or Clay's friends might kill her. Of course, Jessica still tries to see him, so she disguises herself to get into the courtroom to watch the trial. Nick manages to pick her out so some cops accompany her out. Jess manages to talk Chief Wallace into setting up a meeting between them, so she and Nick meet at a JHS gym and dance. Nick is staying at his mentor's house, and knows he has to do something that will make Jess stay away from him. He was going to pretend to break up with her, but knows that Jessica will know that he's pretending. Thats why he (I think) "pretends" (I'm not sure if they really killed him, or if he staged it) to get shot and die. The book left off with Jessica and Elizabeth crying at the court. Meanwhile, Elizabeth finds out from Dana that Dana and Tom slept together. Nobody is talking to Dana, even her friends. Elizabeth, being the nice person that she is, goes over and talks to Dana. It finally comes out and Dana says that they slept together-a lot. Dana didn't do it to make Liz feel bad, she said it because Tom told Liz that they didn't slept together. Liz asks Tom 1 more time if they slept together, and he admits it. Liz tells him that she never wants to see him ever again, and that's where the books leaves off. Winston asks Bruce for his advice on how to get Denise back, and the advice he gets makes things worse. He manages to get Denise back using a hamburger. So at the end of the book, Nick is dead, Jessica is in tears, Liz isn't talking to Tom, and Winston is back with Denise. Also, Dana messes up her concert, which decided whether or not she could keep her scholarship. Todd is seeing a therapist because of Gin-Yung's death, and becomes friends (sort of), with Dana. I would give this book ****-***** (4 1/2) stars.
