#42 Sneaking In was pretty good. In it, Nick drops out of the police force to go to law school. The Thetas are invited to a new fraternity's party, and all of the Thetas and their dates go. There's this new guy who goes, Clay DiPalma, and Nick thinks that he's a bad guy and tells Jessica and Isabella, who happens to be standing nearby to stay away from him. Isabella, who isn't getting along well with Danny Wyatt, her boyfriend, forgets Nick's warning and dances with Clay, who asked her to dance. Afterwards, they both go outside the fraternity house. Clay asks Isabella if she wants a cigarette, and she says yes. She sees Danny leaving the house and lights it, while giving Danny a look. He sees her but walks away because he's fed up with her. In the cigarette there was a drug that Clay put in it, which makes Isabella think that she's being chased by animals. When Lila and Jessica see her, they think she's drunk and go outside to help her. Isabella thinks they're beasts because of the drugs, and runs away from them to a room on the second floor. She jumps off the balcony and falls to the ground. She's in the hospital and has this head injury which keeps her in a coma. Jessica gets Nick to find Clay, who Jessica saw was with Isabella when she was outside. Nick sets up a meeting with Clay to buy drugs, and meets him at a house. Clay knows that Nick was a cop and pulls a gun on him. After some talking, Clay hits Nick on the head with the butt of the gun, but doesn't shoot him. That's where the book ends with Jessica and Isabella's part. Now Elizabeth and Tom has just gotten back together and they're in love. But whenever Liz brings up the subject of Scott Sinclair and Dana Upshaw, Tom doesn't want to talk about it. Now Liz gets messages from Scott about how the Denver Center for Investigative Research is going. He acts likes its a great place, and Liz missed out on a lot by not coming. But then Liz gets an e-mail from one or Scott's partners, who wrote an article about how Scott cheated his way into the school and how he gets women to fall in love with him so he can cheat off of them. Anyway, back to Liz and Tom. Later on, near the end, Liz finds a box of condoms in Tom's room, and more than half were used. Liz thinks that Tom and Dana slept together, but the books ends before she can say anything to Tom, if she was going to. So the books ends with Liz wondering if Tom and Dana slept together, Isabella in the hospital, Danny being mad at an unconscious Isabella, and Nick bleeding in his head with Jessica with him. In the books afterwards, Nick gets Clay, and the government sends him away with a new identity that Jessica doesn't even know. That's what it says in Amazon.com. I would give this book **** (4) stars.
